Healing Disease With Plant Based Foods- Why and How

In Class 1, we learn how to get a grip on food science, using the Theory-Evidences-Probabilities model. Then we can more clearly see our body's natural love for whole-fiber plants that scrub internal engines and maximize nutrient effectiveness. Based on hundreds of validated scientific studies backing population observations, we will see the advantages of plant proteins; importance of complex carbs; roles of both fibers; limits of supplements; Medicare and insurance cardiac rehab programs; and best of all, how to lose weight while Pigging Out!  You will leave with a transition plan to customize how you want, and some simple recipes and hints. Two weeks later we move to the kitchen for Class 2, an applied round table, sharing motivations, goals, ideas and delicious foods.  There we cook and munch on meat and dairy substitutes, with recipes, cookbook references, and grocery-menu lists.
