Be your own boss and embark on a career as a Mobile DJ/Emcee. The possibilities and opportunities are endless and you'll discover your niche in a market that is open and ongoing. This Mobile DJ series will introduce you to the process of becoming a successful mobile DJ and/or Emcee. All modules will be taught by two experts in the industry with well over 50 years of combined experience in wedding receptions, special events and productions throughout Southern California. This series includes the theory and implementation of the skills necessary to DJ and/or Emcee a wedding, as well as other events. Students will be taught all elements of the wedding ceremony and the reception. The course also includes technical aspects of computers, sound and lighting equipment.Students are expected to attend a pre-established number of Saturdays for the Lab portion of the series, in order to train with the staff entertainers.
Upon completion of the entire Mobile DJ Series, students will receive a certification that allows them to work for a multitude of Mobile DJ Entertainment companies in Southern California and throughout the United States. Students will be able to use the skills taught in this course to obtain a job or career as a DJ, Host or Technician. Many graduates in this field have gone on to own and operate their own Mobile DJ/Entertainment company and have been very successful in making it a career for life.

In this module, learn the beginning skills and application for the mobile DJ. Content will focus on the actual use of the DJ equipment. Students will learn howto correctly utilize the important components of the sound system including speakers, mixing board, computer and microphone. This course will also include instruction on how to properly cue music beat mix.
