Drawing - Beginning and Intermediate - Ages 16+

ID : 29754
« back to classes page
This drawing class is designed to teach the fundamentals of drawing, as well as to advance the more experienced student. The class will be divided, so as not to overwhelm the beginner or to bore the more advanced artist. And who knows, there just might be some basics the experienced artist missed along the way and will pick up here. Well-observed and competent drawing is essential to all representational painting and drawing. Remember, you can’t put enough paint down to hide bad drawing. Learn to develop solid drawing techniques and procedures using critical observation skills. The class will cover pencil and pen and ink. You’ll work in graphite, as well as charcoal pencils, then on to inks, from the static look of mechanical pens to good old-fashioned dip pens.
